What Are All the NBA 2K27 REP Rewards?

All 40 REP levels are listed below with what each one unlocks. Set your current level to mark off what you have already earned and see what comes next. 2K does not print REP point totals anywhere in the menu, so there is no per level REP requirement to list. The only progress readout in game is a percentage bar toward your next level.

NBA 2K27 REP Levels in Order

The REP system splits 40 levels into five tiers of eight. The game writes the sub levels as Roman numerals, so Starter 5 appears in the menu as Starter V and Rookie 5 appears as Rookie V.

• Rookie I to Rookie VIII, levels 1 to 8
• Starter I to Starter VIII, levels 9 to 16
• Veteran I to Veteran VIII, levels 17 to 24
• Elite I to Elite VIII, levels 25 to 32
• Legend I to Legend VIII, levels 33 to 40

REP is a year long ladder and does not reset when a season ends, which is why the Legend VIII challenge runs through July 31, 2027. The ladder that does reset is your season level, and it has its own separate season reward track.

How to Earn REP Fast in NBA 2K27

REP comes from playing games in The City, and three things multiply what each game is worth.

• 2XREP events. The REP Rewards menu itself points you at the in game Event Calendar for 2XREP windows, and nothing else on this list doubles your rate. Playing during one is worth more than every other change combined. Our City event schedule tracks when those windows run.
• Crew REP bonuses. Crew levels award a REP bonus that climbs to 100% by Crew Level 36. It only applies when everyone on your team is a crew member, so it pays off for organised crews rather than random queues.
• Boosted accessories. Season rewards include accessories carrying a 5% REP bonus, which stacks on top of the two above.

Rookie II also hands you 30 Gatorade Boosts and 60 Skill Boosts. Those do not raise REP directly, but they keep your attributes at full value for ten games at a time, and you win more when your player is not running on empty. We are measuring REP rates per game mode in NBA 2K27 now and will publish a mode by mode breakdown here once the numbers are solid rather than guess at them.

Which REP Levels Give Cap Breakers?

The REP ladder awards 11 Cap Breakers, more than any other source in NBA 2K27. Nine arrive one at a time at Rookie VI, Starter I, Starter IV, Starter VII, Veteran I, Veteran IV, Veteran VI, Elite I and Elite III. Legend I then awards two at once.

Which REP Rewards Are Worth Grinding For?

Legend III is the outlier. A free build with every eligible attribute and badge maxed is worth more than anything else on the ladder, and nothing else in the game hands you one. Legend II is close behind, because Synergy is what lets you reach Legend badges at all. Legend IV turning Gatorade and Skill Boosts unlimited removes a running VC cost for the rest of the year.

Below Legend the ladder is mostly Cap Breakers, and they are worth taking in order since nine of the eleven land before Elite IV. The VC is heavily backloaded: levels 1 through 22 pay 5,000 VC between them, while Legend VII alone pays 10,000,000.

Elite V, Elite VIII and part of Legend I still read COMING SEASON 2 in game, described only as a new MyPLAYER Builder feature. 2K has not said what that feature is, so treat those three slots as unknown.
