Captured from the in game MT Rep Menu on August 26, 2026, NBA 2K27 launch day. The menu shows eight rewards at a time and then scrolls, so 23 of the 42 tiers hold more rewards than a single screen could capture. Those tiers are marked Partial below and we are re-capturing them.

MyTEAM REP is a 42 tier ladder that runs from Bronze up through Dark Matter and finishes on a Top 10 challenge. It pays MT, packs, Game Changer consumables, shoe and coach cards, court floors and auction slots. It is a completely separate system from the MyCAREER REP ladder, so nothing you earn in The City moves this bar. Every tier and what it unlocks is below.

All 42 tiers are listed below in ladder order. The MT Rep Menu shows gem icons rather than printed tier names, so the names here follow the standard MyTEAM card tiers that the icons match. Tiers marked Partial have more rewards than the eight the menu shows before it scrolls.

How Does MyTEAM REP Work in NBA 2K27?

You earn MyTEAM REP by playing MyTEAM modes, and the ladder advances through the same gem tiers the card collection uses: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Emerald, Sapphire, Ruby, Amethyst, Diamond, Pink Diamond, Galaxy Opal and Dark Matter. Every tier above Gold has five sub tiers.

2K does not display REP point totals in the menu, only a percentage bar toward your next tier, so there is no published requirement per tier. The menu also carries a live Top Ten REP leaderboard, which matters because the final tier is a season long competition rather than a normal unlock.

Which MyTEAM REP Rewards Are Worth Chasing?

The MT payouts are the reason to climb, and they scale hard rather than evenly: 25,000 MT at Emerald V, 100,000 MT at Ruby IV, 500,000 MT at Pink Diamond IV and 1,000,000 MT at Dark Matter. Four of the five Galaxy Opal tiers pay 500,000 MT each, so the last third of the ladder is worth several times everything below it combined.

The 2x MyTEAM REP tokens are the compounding reward. They arrive in 30, 60 and 120 minute lengths, and saving them for a long session rather than burning them on a single game is the only real lever the ladder gives you on your own REP rate. The recurring Free Pack entries tagged Daily, Weekly, Bi-weekly and Monthly are the other quiet winner, since they keep paying out for the rest of the year once unlocked.

The final tier is not a reward you can grind to on your own schedule. Finishing in the MyTEAM REP Top 10 at 11:59PM PT on July 31, 2027 pays a free digital copy of NBA 2K28, immortalization in NBA 2K28 and exclusive NBA 2K28 items.
